how long does it take for nipple piercings to heal?

Query by reallynobody: how lengthy does it take for nipple piercings to heal?
I am thinking about obtaining my nipples pierced and wearing barbell jewelry. But my occupation (“choice-hunting” model) may well make it sort of extremely hard to wait out the healing procedure, based…..that’s generally what is happened when I got new piercings in the past. How extended does it normally take for nipple piercings to heal? Is there swelling/bruising/discharge/pus/crust-y-ness? If so, how prolonged does this final? What do you have to do for standard aftercare to guarantee proper healing?

PLEASE Never just copy and paste something from wikipedia or google into your answer. I am searching for Private Encounter answers, FROM Men and women, NOT some web site I can just discover myself in 2 seconds. You know?

Thanks.

I personally do not have nipple piercings but have deemed it. Despite the fact that I do have friends who did and from what they told me it took up to a year at least to heal. A single of them could not take care of it and had them eliminated. Its not like a genital/ear/nose piercing, so there is fairly a bit of tissue that demands to heal. Definitely even though its healing you want to wear a bra and no rough play. I am sorry I cant assist a lot with individual experiences with aftercare but that’s all much I know. Great luck!

  1. I have both my nipples pierced.

This piercing can take up to ATLEAST a year to heal.

It is very high maintenance. There a lots of crusties, lymph discharge… not to mention if you bump them in the first few months you will experience slightly painful swelling.

It is totally worth it though. In About a year they will be perfect.

Remember to use warm sea salt soaks, antibacterial soap for fisrt few weeks, chammomile tea bag compree for dryness ( after 3 months or so), wear sports bra or form fitting bra to avoid bumping your jewelry. No rough playing if you catch my drift for first few months… NO NEOSPORIN! NO switching jewelry atleast for a year. dont play with the jewelry.

You cant rush this healing process. But it does not look hideous while they are healing…. sea salt soaks removes the crusties and they look lovely.

  4. For a nipple piercing to heal it can take three to six month. Take good care of it and keep it clean!
